Seagate has launched the 2008 lineup of its FreeAgent external hard drives. The new line-up includes desktop and mobile options, for both Mac and Windows-based PCs.
This external hard drive has capacity of upto 500 GB, starting from 250 GB. The 500GB FreeAgent is priced at Rs 12,000. The FreeAgent and XTreme are 8.9cm desktop drives, providing upto 1.5 TB of storage and USB 2.0 interface. The XTreme comes with eSATA, USB 2.0 and FireWire 400 interfaces, the 1.5TB Desk and Xtreme drives are priced at 17,000 each.
The Go for Mac ( 320GB ) is available for Rs 10,000, while the Desk for Mac( 1.5TB ) is priced at Rs 19,000.
